"Bugsy Siegel's" Flamingo Hotel / Casino in 1952
Dramatic night-time photograph of the famous Flamingo Hotel Casino in Las Vegas taken in 1952. This was Bugsy Seigel's original casino location that started the present trend of Las Vegas Casino/Hotels. The property was eventually taken over by Hilton Hotels, and the last building from the original site was bulldozed in 1993. Today there is a memorial to Bugsy Siegel in the new Flamingo Hotel and Casino near the wedding chapel.
